Hi,
My name is Rich Chille Im 32 Years old and live on Long Island
, NY. I grew up in brooklyn and moved to Long Island when I was
12. Growing up through high school in good old SELDEN was quite
an experience, keg parties and bon fires at the beach. What else
is there to do on the Island but drink? And going from party to
party is what we did. There arent buses here like the city, or subways,
and even taxi's arent in abundance like the city. Try taking a cab
home from a club out here on a holiday weekend, you could be waiting
for an hour or more. So going to keg parties and beach parties you
had to be ready to drink , funnels, shot guns, whatever, the more
we drank the more we wanted to go to another party and finish their
keg. It was fun , but it was crazy how many times we drove drunk,
all of us. Me, Mike, John, Jay, Lou, Chance, PETE, Joe, Kevin,Bill,
( ha, no girls names here ) i can go on and on. We all got DWI's
I think Mike has 5 or 6 , 2 in cali, 2 in texas, 2 in Ny, hahahah.
We started competing to see who can keep their license the longest.
I actually took my road test more than anyone you will ever know,
every time I got a DWI I would have to take the permit test, the
road test all over again, and failing one or two for speeding. Yeah,
being in your 30's and taking your permit test with 16 year olds
is pretty bad, me and mike did it together so we can share the embarrassment.
So my last DWI was it for me. I thank God I never injured someone
or killed someone. THANK GOD. When I was sitting in my jail cell
that last time eating my bread and drinking my water (actually they
gave us bologna sandwiches with one slice of meat, by the time the
sandwich was passed down to me in a cell of 50 maniacs my slice
was stolen, so i only had bread and tea, which i dont drink, so
i just had the hot water, yuk.) anyway,, sitting there i was miserable,
freezing , hungover, puking, starving, realizing how much trouble
im in, praying it was all just a dream. I started thinking about
what I did (again & again & again) and how maybe I can bring
something positive out of all this.
www.drinkingfun.com was created by
trying to turn a negative into a positive. I realized how drinking
and driving messed up my life for a while and I wanted to try do
something to help me or help others stop doing it. Im not saying don't
go out and have fun or not to have a few drinksBut I thought if I could at least try to convince
people to call a cab if you're out drinking or stay home and do it playing my game, instead of going
out and driving around, then maybe I could save someone's life one
day or at least keep them from losing their license. I just hope
everyone out there who does go out to party, takes a cab home or
calls someone. If you really want to have a great time with friends
or family, stay home and play "Don't Drink and Drive" the board
game. Sleep Over. ORDER
NOW
Thank You. Sincerely, Richard A Chille.
